This week we’re looking forwards to themed observing of the planets.
So join us in Nuffield G13 at 7:30pm this Thursday to learn about some of the brightest objects in the night sky and found out how to observe them. Afterwards, weather permitting, there will be observing with the society telescopes and as always a social drink in Joes to finish the night!
This week we have got a host of small talks from each of our new committee members on their favourite object in the night sky. At the end of these we will be asking you to vote on your favourite of the objects that have been discussed with the aim that the society will make an effort to observe the most popular choices over the coming months (if possible).
So join us in Nuffield G13 at 7:30pm this Thursday to get your chance at picking the future observations for the society and learning some fun facts along the way. Afterwards, weather permitting, there will be observing with the society telescopes and as always a social drink in Joes to finish the night!
